Company Čelik d.o.o. from Bački Jark introduced the standard EN 1090 to confirm the conformity of factory production control.
In accordance with Directive of the European Parliament and of the Council (EU) no. 305/2011 of 9 March 2011 laying down harmonized conditions for the placing of construction products on the market and repealing Council Directive 89 / 106EHS, this certificate is issued for construction products.
Product type: Steel construction parts, parts, assemblies and structures
Scope of the AUP: Manufacture of steel construction components, assembly parts and structures of performance class in EXC 2 in accordance with EN1090-2.
The EN 1090 standard specifies requirements for assessing the performance compliance of structural steel and aluminum elements and multi-component systems marketed as construction products. Conformity assessment shall include the manufacturing characteristics and, where appropriate, the design features of the structure.
This European Standard also covers the conformity assessment of steel elements used in coupled steel and concrete structures. The elements can be used directly in building structures or as structural elements in the form of multi-component systems.
EN 1090 applies to batch and non-batch structural members including multi-component systems. The elements can be made of hot-rolled or cold-formed composite products or components manufactured by other technologies. These elements can be made of profiles of various shapes, flat products (plates, sheets, strips), bars, castings, forgings made of steel and aluminum materials, protected or not protected against corrosion by coating or other surface treatment, e.g. by anodizing aluminum.
