The Abrasive company designs and manufactures machines and production lines for the animal feed industry. As part of the reconstruction and expansion of the capacity of the edible oil and animal feed factory “Nt Kft” Kiskunfélegyházá, we performed the production and assembly of the steel structure of the silo supports for the processing of sunflower husks for the client from Kečkemet.

The dimensions of the building at the base are 18m x 6m, the total height of the building is 23m. The construction of the steel structure was carried out in two phases. In the first phase, a frame steel structure with a height of 11 m was built, on which the silos rest.

The equipment of the plant is installed on a platform located at a height of 5m. The silos for sunflower husk are 7m high and are mounted at an elevation of +11.00m. In the second phase, the construction for covering the silo at +18.00 m and the facade construction of the entire building, which consists of thin-walled galvanized steel beams and sandwich panels, were assembled.
