Railway bridge over the Begej

In cooperation with the company Karin Komerc MD from Veternik, the dismantling of the existing old one was contracted railway bridge over the Begej river in Zrenjanin, as well as the assembly of a new railway bridge from parts assembly – disassembly of the MD bridge from Novi Sad. The bridge is located on a single-track railway. Used are bridge elements with a span of 72.0 [m]. The elements of the MD bridge are: longitudinal and transverse supports, vertical steel gratings, couplings and road plates. The existing bridge was a steel truss structure triangular fillings with a curved upper belt. Yokes were designed for mounting elements of the new one of the bridge, which were also used for dismantling the old one. A new bridge was installed on the site of the existing bridge elements of the MD bridge, so for the needs of the project of disassembly, and later assembly of the steel structure, there were it is necessary to drive two batteries of piles with four piles per battery with a diameter of 609×6.3mm.
