Residential building on Brač

Engagement on this project included the workshop production and assembly of the supporting steel structure of the residential building with floors P0+Pr+1 with a total height of 10.2m.

The underground floor is formed by reinforced concrete walls on which the slab of the ground floor rests, while the remaining floors, the ground floor and the first floor, are made of steel, which was the scope of our work.

Due to the proximity of the building to the sea coast (~10m) as well as the possibility of later maintenance of the steel structure, anti-corrosion protection is provided by hot-dip galvanizing of the steel profiles.

As the roof and wall coverings are provided in stone/ceramic, glass and wood cladding, a special requirement was to connect all these different materials with the basic steel structure and thus create a comfortable place for future users.
